Auxerrois

Lorraine grape, grown in Moselle before 1914, it has been multiplied after 1950 in the Alsatian vineyard by vineyard and oenological research station of Colmar - Upper Rhine. Auxerrois gives a rather fine wine, slightly aromatic, sometimes lacking acidity. It is often vinified with Pinot Blanc which brings a fruity character.

Aromas of quince, exotic fruits, spices, white flowers, honey, toasted notes, grapefruit, apple.
