Feunate
Ancient grape of the Drôme valley and particularly of Diois. Today it is no longer present in the vineyard even if it remains authorized in this department.
According to studies conducted by the INRA in Montpellier, it comes from a natural intraspecific cross between Paugayen noir and Mavault seedling (itself cross between Gouais blanc and Trousseau noir).
The Feunate gives a very colorful wine, astringent, slightly alcoholic, with often good acidity.
