Les vins des coteaux alpins \ Grape varieties
Ancient variety of the Valley of Isere and Rhone, it is available in white and black (Bia Gris so named because of the matt black appearance of its grappes). In the Saint-Marcellin (Isère), Bia Blanc was often associated with Maclon, Jacquier and Marsanne.
Today, Bia is only present in a few vineyards that have saved it from an almost certain demise.
Bia Blanc gives a pleasant and fragrant wine with Sauvignon close accents.
